Church of Christ Burnage was sited on Burnage Lane close to Green End Roundabout.
Founded in1935 the Re-formed Association of Churches of Christ joined the URC in 1981. In anticipation of the denomination joining the URC, Green End became part of Christ Church URC at Easter 1980. Green End's closure in 1996 led to the change of name to Christ Church South Manchester URC.
As you can see, the History of Green End is very sketchy. Any contributions to fill in details are very welcome, especially photos and background of the "Dove" stained glass window. Thanks!
