Sun. Sept. 11th 14:00 – Fog Lane Park – Outdoor Theatre – Awful Auntie

If you can't make it on Saturday, for a family live theatre picnic, then how about Sunday afternoon?

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets

Sat. Sept. 10th 14:00 & 18:00 – Fog Lane Park – Outdoor Theatre – Awful Auntie

Heartbreak Productions @heartbreakproductions   their 4th production, bringing you Theatre in the Park. The 14:00 performance  on the 10th is a Pay What You Can performance with BSL interpretation.

The new playground at the Saxby Hall Orphanage is finally complete, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. The orphanage was founded by Stella Saxby, who some of you may remember. Her parents were killed in a car crash in 1933, leaving her an orphan, all alone with her Awful Auntie. And when we say awful, we mean awful. Aunt Alberta and her best friend Wagner, a vicious Bavarian owl, tried everything they could to torment Stella into signing over the deed to Saxby Hall. But Stella, with the help of her friend Soot, fought off Aunt Alberta, saved Saxby Hall, and gifted the beautiful Saxby Hall to be used as an orphanage.

Awful Auntie by David Walliams, adapted for outdoor theatre by Heartbreak Productions, is a truly thrilling tale. Owls, ghosts, chases, escapes, motorcycle rides, and tiddlywinks all fill Stella’s days as she evades her menacing Aunt and saves the family home. So, please join us at the dedication of the new playground at Saxby Hall and hear how it all came about. Make sure you bring a blanket or chair to sit on, weather-appropriate gear, and a picnic, as the tale could take some time to tell, and storytelling can be hungry work!

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets

Fri Sept. 9th 19:00 – Fog Lane Park – Outdoor Theatre – Much Ado About Murder

Heartbreak Productions @heartbreakproductions  a second production, bringing you Theatre in the Park

Don your detective cap and join Heartbreak Productions for some super silly outdoor theatre this summer. Our original murder mystery will set five suspects under the spotlight, and we will depend on the audience to find answers. Who was lurking in the corridor carrying a candlestick? When did the third gunshot go off – before or after the very silly song? And probably most importantly, why didn’t you pack a larger picnic?

Answers to these and other equally important questions will only be uncovered as we make Much Ado About Murder (an original murder mystery by Heartbreak Productions, performed, as are all our shows, out of doors, so check the weather, dress appropriately, and bring a picnic).

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets

Thurs. Sept. 8th 19:00 – Fog Lane Park – Outdoor Theatre – Twelfth Night

Heartbreak Productions @heartbreakproductions  a second production, bringing you Theatre in the Park.

Heartbreak Productions brings you an open-air production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night as you’ve never seen it before. We throw Orsino, Olivia, Viola, and the others into a reality-tv coupling show “Twelve Nights” and see how they fare. This outdoor production keeps close enough to the Bard's to appeal to aficionados, but wraps up the themes of obsessive love and its subterfuges in a Love Island meets Big Brother package.

Pack a picnic, bring a blanket (or chair), and dress for the weather. We can’t wait to welcome you back to the island to find out what has become of our couples.

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets

Heartbreak Productions @heartbreakproductions  are here again for a repeat performance. See below for a description of the play. This performance has BSL interpretation.

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets

Thurs Sept. 1st 19:00 – Fog Lane Park – Outdoor Theatre - Jane Eyre

Heartbreak Productions @heartbreakproductions  bring their outdoor theatre to Fog Lane Park, the first of several productions.

Heartbreak is delighted to present this original outdoor theatre adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s classic, Jane Eyre. Using the backdrop of a carnival, we follow our favourite Victorian heroine through her many ordeals. Watch her escape from her aunt’s house, her school, the fire, the moors, and finally find safety with her true love, Mr Rochester.

So step right up, ladies and gents, to Heartbreak Productions’ Carnival Spectacular - complete with astounding acrobats, jaw-dropping jugglers. And don't forget our very special guest - the death-defying escape artist Jane Eyre. Watch her wriggle out of five different tight corners, including everyone’s greatest fear – fire! Harrowing at times and heart-warming at others, this romantic tale is best enjoyed at one of our gorgeous outdoor venues, with a picnic, of course.

Tickets: £11.50 - £50.00 from Tickets
